Terms & Conditions of Service & Support


  1. The client explicitly waives its own standard terms and conditions, even if these were drawn up after these standard terms and conditions of sale. In order to be valid, any derogation must be expressly agreed to in advance in writing.
  2. Our invoices are payable within 21 working days, unless another payment timeframe is indicated on either the invoice or the order. In the event of non-payment by the due date, Scallix reserves the right to request a fixed interest payment amounting to 10% of the sum remaining due. Scallix will be authorized to suspend any provision of services without prior warning in the event of late payment.
  3. If a payment is still outstanding more than sixty (60) days after the due payment date, Scallix reserves the right to call on the services of a debt recovery company. All legal expenses will be payable by the client.
  4. Certain countries apply withholding at source on the amount of invoices, in accordance with their internal legislation. Any withholding at source will be paid by the client to the tax authorities. Under no circumstances can Scallix become involved in costs related to a country's legislation. The amount of the invoice will therefore be due to Scallix in its entirety and does not include any costs relating to the legislation of the country in which the client is located.
  5. Scallix undertakes to do its best to supply performant services in due time in accordance with the agreed timeframes. However, none of its obligations can be considered as being an obligation to achieve results. Scallix cannot under any circumstances, be required by the client to appear as a third party in the context of any claim for damages filed against the client by an end consumer.
  6. In order for it to be admissible, Scallix must be notified of any claim by means of a letter sent by recorded delivery to its registered office within 8 days of the delivery of the goods or the provision of the services.
  7. Warranty Coverage
      1. Imbera Cooler
    1. Warranty Period: 3 years – parts and labour
    2. Additional Coverage: 2 additional years of warranty on the compressor
    3. Service Type: On-site service is provided throughout the warranty period for any eligible repairs
    4. Coverage: Manufacturer defects under normal use conditions
      1. Smart Kit & Payment System (Nayax + Scale)
    5. Warranty Period: 1 year
    6. Coverage: Hardware defects due to manufacturing issues
    7. Service Process:
        1. The client will ship the defective part to Scallix Inc. at no cost
        2. A replacement part will be shipped to the client free of charge
        3. The client will install the replacement under guidance from our support team
        4. Remote support will be provided to ensure proper reinstallation and configuration
  8. ​Technical Support Scallix Inc. is committed to providing ongoing technical support for all smart vending machines we supply.

  10. Training & Onboarding
    1. We provide comprehensive onboarding support for new clients, including:
      1. Remote initial setup training
      2. User guides and documentation
      3. Assistance with integrating Nayax services and Monyx Wallet features
  11. Replacement Parts Outside Warranty.
    1. Clients may request replacement parts outside of the warranty period. Pricing and availability will be provided upon request.
  12. Limitations & Exclusions
    1. Scallix Inc. is not responsible for diminished cooling performance or any damages resulting from water leaks. The warranty will be void if the ambient room temperature exceeds 75°F and 55% relative humidity, Using the cooler outdoor and/or in case the cooler will be exposed to direct sun.
    2. Scallix Inc. is not liable for any harm or injury caused by improper or negligent use of this equipment. The product must only be operated by an individual over the age of 18, in sound mind, not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and who has received proper training in its operation while wearing the appropriate safety gear. Any modifications made to the machine will void the warranty and may result in harm to individuals using or standing near the machine during operation.
    3.  Avoid unit installation in areas with open flames (kitchens, repair garages or the like) or in the vicinity of open flames or high surface temperatures.
    4. Avoid unit installation in confined spaces. Well-ventilated areas are preferred. Keep clear all ventilation opens of obstructions.
    5. The following are not covered under this warranty:
      1. Damage caused by misuse, physical impact, or unauthorized modifications.
      2. Electrical damage due to unstable power supply or improper installation.
      3. Vandalism or theft.
      4. Improper or unauthorized technician repair.
  13. Check Package Upon Arrival Upon receiving a Scallix Inc. shipment, inspect it for any visible external damage. If no external damage is evident, open the packaging to ensure that all ordered items are included and that there is no concealed damage to the equipment. If the package has been mishandled, shows signs of impact, or has visible or concealed damage, note it on the bill of lading before accepting the delivery and contact Scallix Inc. within 24 hours to initiate a claim with the carrier. A detailed report on the damage must be submitted within three days of the delivery date listed on the shipping documents. 
  14. Scallix Inc. assumes no responsibility for damaged products that were shipped collect or third-party.
  15. Before operating any equipment, always read and familiarize yourself with all operational and safety instructions.
  16. Warning! Install this cooler avoiding direct sunlight. Do not install this cooler outdoors. This cooler must not be used or stored where ambient temperature is under 14°F or greater than 140°F and where relative humidity is greater than 90%. Never install equipment close to heat sources; otherwise, cooler may consume more energy or function incorrectly. Do not introduce hot objects or warmer than ambient temperature inside cooler. Never obstruct or place objects along front grill which may obstruct free air flow; this may cause inefficient cooler operation and will increase the energy consumption Assembling the shelves and the cable cover plates. Never place objects over the cooler. Consider that the cabinet’s structure has been constructed mainly of laminated sheet metal and polyethylene foam that may easily bend or deform when hit, and it may even deform over time due to placement of TV, microwave oven and other objects. For adequate cooling, cooler separation on back and sides must be at a minimum distance of 10cm (4”) with respect to walls or other nearby objects. IMPORTANT: do not to use a cutter knife or blade for cooler handling. Inappropriate use may scratch or cut off components.
  17. All our contractual relations will be governed exclusively by Canada law.
